Rare Disease Day is February 28th

Metrum Research Group is raising awareness of Rare Disease Day during the entire month of February. Rare Disease Day occurs on February 28, 2019. The National Organization for Rare Disorders has issued a challenge to participate in recognizing rare diseases by showing your stripes, as the zebra is the official symbol of rare diseases in the United States. We have invited our employees to participate in a Show Your Stripes Challenge in the following ways:

  • Our in-house bulletin board showcases the various Rare Diseases we are bringing attention to by sharing in-depth information with our colleagues.
  • We are hosting an employee pot luck lunch on Rare Disease Day. We’ll need to be creative as we bring a food item with a striped theme!
  • Wearing stripes on February 28th. Metrum will pledge a donation for each employee that participates. There is a gift card prize going to one employee who is deemed to be showing the best display of stripes that day.

Check back here in early March when we share pictures of our stripes. Show us your stripes on Twitter @MetrumRG! #showyourstripes #rarediseaseday
