In the spirit of giving back, the MetrumRG team participated in an Annual Toy Drive benefiting Connecticut Children’s. Over the years, our team has made the holidays a little brighter by donating hundreds of toys to children throughout Connecticut, Eastern New York, and Western Massachusetts.
With MetrumRG’s remote-first workplace approach, we have aligned our volunteering and fundraising opportunities to be accessible for all employees, whether they are located near MetrumRG’s headquarters in Tariffville, CT or somewhere across the country. In 2023, employees had a handful of participation options. Some engaged virtually by contributing online, while others actively joined in-person activities such as group shopping trips, bringing toys from different regions during our annual company meeting in December, and assisting assembling donated toys.
MetrumRG has been a dedicated supporter of the Connecticut Children’s Toy Drive since December 2019, growing from a local tradition into a company-wide campaign.
“Our annual toy drive was a huge success this year. Being able to give back during the holiday season and help put a smile on a child’s face makes it all worth it” said Scott Rylands, Director of Talent and Culture at MetrumRG. “The number of toys, games, stuffed animals, and other items donated by our employees was truly inspiring.”
MetrumRG would like to thank the company’s Community Outreach Committee for organizing and supporting this heartfelt outreach event. This Committee was formed in 2015 with the vision of developing MetrumRG’s already strong philanthropic commitment. Committee members offer their time and talent to organize fun and effective ways to give back to the communities we serve.
Every year, we’re reminded of the wonderful spirit of generosity that our team brings to MetrumRG and what an honor it is to come together to help others. Here’s to spreading even more generosity in 2024!
