MetrumRG Fall Community Outreach Efforts

The fall season brought several opportunities for MetrumRG employees to give to local communities.

    • Our efforts began in October with a coat drive. Employees generously donated new and gently used coats that were given to Button Up Connecticut, an organization that works with non-profit agencies in CT to provide for those in need.

    • While we donate to food pantries monthly, efforts increased in November. Returnable cans and bottles deposits, along with cash donations, were used to shop for food items. Along with donated goods, we ultimately had enough to help 24 families with meals on Thanksgiving - from side dishes to vegetables to desserts.

    • Contributions continued with Giving Tuesday, which kicked off our end of the year charity donation match to this year’s charity choice: National Alliance on Mental Illness.

    • And lastly, we held a successful toy drive to benefit CT Children’s Medical Center, where donated toys help make every child’s visit as comforting and positive as possible.

We are proud of all the employees’ efforts to give back during the year and look forward to continuing to support those in need during the upcoming new year.
