Metrum Research Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Jonathan French, D. Sci to Fellow
Tariffville, CT: Continuing the commitment to the scientific development of the Metrum Research Group (MetrumRG) team, Jonathan French, D. Sci. has been designated as Fellow within the Scientific Leadership Track. Dr. French also serves as Group Leader of the Statistical Modeling & Methods team at MetrumRG.
“The Fellow designation recognizes select individuals for high level scientific quality, achievement, and contribution, both within MetrumRG and in the external scientific community”, notes Marc Gastonguay, Metrum Research Group founder and CEO. “Jonathan has been an invaluable contributor to MetrumRG’s mission to defeat disease and to the growth of the science in general. His scientific leadership and expertise in statistics, pharmacometrics, and mathematical modeling are internationally recognized.”
In addition to extensive experience, promotion to Fellow is based on demonstrated evidence of the nominee’s continuing contributions in areas including scientific leadership, mentorship or teaching/training, scientific contribution to MetrumRG’s business mission, service in the external scientific community, and a consistent record of publications and presentations.
Dr. French brings nearly two decades of drug development experience to his work at MetrumRG. He began his career as a project statistician; designing, analyzing and interpreting clinical trials in depression and ADHD. His primary areas of expertise range from model-based meta-analysis and applied Bayesian methods to modeling time-to-event data and missing data mechanisms.
