This month we highlight

Grace joined the MetrumRG team in April 2022 as a Data Scientist I.  As a data scientist at MetrumRG, Grace applies programmatic data processing, analysis, and reporting methods to support scientific insights.

What do you like most about working at MetrumRG?

The people–both MetrumRG staff and our clients are so knowledgeable and helpful. Everybody I’ve met and worked with has been very passionate about the work we’re doing. I really enjoy being part of such a collaborative and driven team.

Which of MetrumRG’s core values is most important to you?

I really value MetrumRG’s strong emphasis on open science. It’s fulfilling to work for a company that shares knowledge and tools to contribute to the community and help advance the field.

What do you like to do in your free time? 

All sorts of crafts. I recently refurbished a bedroom furniture set that I’m very proud of. I also enjoy yoga, water coloring, and walking around Boston to find the best coffee shop.

What TV show are you currently watching?

I finally started watching Stranger Things, and I now understand what the hype was all about!

What are you looking forward to this summer/what are your summer plans?

I’m moving from Boston to Rochester, NY next weekend. I’m looking forward to living closer to my family, settling into a new city, and joining a community workshop where I can start working on larger stained glass projects.
